In ancient times, or before the invention of synthetic dyes, only natural dyes extracted from plants, animals or minerals could be used for textile printing. Since the invention of synthetic pigment by W. Perkin in 1856, the application of natural dyes as textile dyes is time-consuming and laborious, and can not be prefabricated into ready-made products. Therefore, it gradually lost its important position.

  However, Germany began to ban some azo dyes in 1996, and it has been found that these dyes have carcinogenicity, distortion and sensitization. Therefore, people turn their attention to the & environmentally friendly & special ink for heat transfer machine. The re introduction of natural and environmental friendly dyes has opened up a business opportunity for the textile industry to exploit new markets for natural printing and dyeing products with these dyes. The market of natural textile products is a huge market to be fully developed.

  Making full use of these natural resources requires joint efforts to develop corresponding technologies, processes and products. At present, most of the researches are focused on natural dyes dyeing and the improvement of color fastness of dyed products, but rarely involve its application in printing. This study only involves the application of four kinds of natural dyes in printing, as well as the products used in the preparation of silk and cotton printed fabrics, including clothing, home textiles and handicrafts. This research provides a new way to produce high value-added products.
