The difference between heat transfer and water transfer lies in the fact that the image and text on the intermediate carrier film are transferred onto the substrate under corresponding pressure—this is what is known as “transfer.” Depending on the type of pressure used, transfer films can be categorized into heat transfer, water transfer, air transfer, screen printing transfer, and low‑temperature transfer.

The difference between heat transfer and water transfer lies in the fact that the image and text on the intermediate carrier film are transferred onto the substrate under corresponding pressure—this is what is known as “transfer.” Depending on the level of pressure, Heat transfer film They can be classified into thermal transfer, water transfer, air transfer, screen printing, and low-temperature transfer.

What are the common problems with heat transfer films?

1. Heat Transfer Printing Technology: Heat transfer printing involves printing designs onto a heat‑resistant adhesive tape and then transferring the ink layer onto the finished material through heat and pressure. Even when dealing with multiple designs, since the transfer process is a single step, customers can streamline their printing operations and minimize material (finished product) waste caused by printing errors. Multi‑color printing can be achieved by… Heat transfer film With a single printing pass and no need for registration, even basic equipment can produce vivid patterns. Heat transfer film Heat‑transfer equipment is used to decorate aluminum and various metal sheets, with heat‑transfer films capable of replicating the appearance of wood or marble. Operating on the principle of sublimation, this equipment can rapidly transfer the desired wood grain or marble pattern onto an aluminum powder‑coated surface in just 3–5 minutes, with the design penetrating the coating by 40–60 microns. The production process for aluminum transfer printing involves using a film‑cutting machine to size the heat‑transfer film to the required dimensions.

II. Based on the dimensions of the workpiece, use a ultrasonic transfer packaging machine to ultrasonically weld the cut transfer film into a packaging bag for the workpiece.

3. Insert the worker into the workpiece packaging bag made of transfer film on the packaging platform.

4. Place the workpiece wrapped in the thermal transfer film onto the hot‑transfer machine’s carriage platform; up to 18 types of aluminum profiles can be loaded sequentially. Connect the vacuum fittings to both ends of the aluminum profiles and secure them, then activate the vacuum switch. At this point, the transfer film will adhere tightly to the aluminum. The carriage automatically transports the aluminum into the oven, where the temperature is set to 220°C and held for 3 minutes. The carriage then automatically exits the oven.

5. Release the vacuum tap and remove the workpiece.

6. Remove the release film and inspect the workpiece quality. Heat transfer film The manufacturing process includes using a slitting machine to cut the thermal transfer paper roll into the required dimensions.
