Many people commonly refer to it as an engraved label. As industry insiders, we’re thoroughly familiar with heat‑transfer films, but for those unfamiliar with the field, they may not even know the basics of heat‑press application. Now, let me share some essential information about heat‑transfer films!
Many people commonly refer to it as an engraved label. As industry insiders, we’re thoroughly familiar with heat‑transfer film, but for those unfamiliar with the field, they might not even know the basics of heat‑press application. Now, let me share some essential information about heat‑transfer film!

What is the membrane liner made of?
1. Base Film: The thermal transfer film serves as the carrier for the release layer, the printing layer, and the adhesive layer. Common base films include PET film, OPP film, PVC film, and others. The appropriate base film should be selected based on the specific requirements of the product; otherwise, the quality of the thermal transfer product may be compromised.
2. Release Layer: A coating of release agent that remains solid at room temperature, melts at a specified temperature to reduce adhesion to the substrate, and enables rapid detachment from the base film without leaving any adhesive residue.
3. Printing Layer: This layer forms the foundation of a thermal transfer product’s visual appeal, with the key lying in the selection and combination of thermal transfer inks. Once the thermal transfer process is complete, only the printing layer remains on the surface of the product; therefore, choosing the right materials for this layer is especially critical, as an oversight can compromise the overall quality of the thermal transfer item.
In-membrane shape‑memory anti‑counterfeiting, also known as memory‑based anti‑counterfeiting, is a novel security technology characterized by complex manufacturing processes yet simple verification methods, making it suitable for widespread application across diverse sectors. This technique relies on polymeric materials with molecular chains exceeding 10,000 units; through a series of intricate steps—including chemical and physical reactions as well as molding—these materials acquire a memory function. When exposed to temperatures at or above 65°C, the material “remembers” and prominently displays pre‑designed three‑dimensional characters or patterns, thereby enabling authentication of product genuineness. The uniqueness of in‑membrane‑applied products lies in their ability to generate tactile, three‑dimensional patterns under specific thermal conditions. This dynamic visual effect delivers a stronger sensory impact, far surpassing the temperature‑responsive effects of conventional anti‑counterfeiting inks.
